National Afro-American Museum & Cultural Center

The National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center (NAAMCC), located in Wilberforce, Ohio, is the region’s foremost resource for information about African American history and culture.

NAAMCC has one of the nation’s largest collections of African American materials, including artwork, historical artifacts, manuscripts, and thousands of photographs. The museum’s collections are used by researchers and museums from around the world, including the Smithsonian. We offer educational opportunities through high-quality exhibits, events, and programming, that tell the amazing stories of African Americans not just in Ohio, but also those individuals who had an impact on American history...nationally and globally.
