COVID-19 Information

CVB offices are open to the public. Please note that Greene County is requiring all who enter a county facility to wear a face covering.

The Greene County Convention & Visitors Bureau has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak to assist our event planner and hospitality industry partners. Throughout the pandemic, we have seen many of the groups we work with cancel or postpone their events, conferences, tournaments, and reunions. Each of these cancellations, while difficult, has been made with the best interests of their attendees, players, staff, and the community in mind. We all need to do our part to help slow or stop the spread of this disease here at home and around the world.

These losses are deeply felt by these groups, but also our local event venues, hotels, attractions, and restaurants. We are particularly saddened by the reality that many of the staff that we rely on in the hospitality and live entertainment industry will be negatively impacted by all the closures. Housekeepers, ticket takers, servers, bartenders, parking attendants, etc. depend on these events for their livelihood.

Each event we work with has dedicated staff and volunteers that work year-round to provide the best experience possible to their attendees. We know that this work will continue and the Greene County CVB will be here, ready to assist as always.

As of June 2, 2021, most public health orders in the State of Ohio have been rescinded or allowed to expire. Individual businesses may choose to enforce their own protocols, we recommend contacting them directly with questions.
